Located on the western coast of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, Aro'a Beachside Inn offers its guests unobstructed sunset views across the ocean. The hotel is set directly on the beach, and is approximately 15 kilometers (nine miles) from the airport and Avarua town. Hotel Features. The hotel's beach location means that guests need only walk a few meters to participate in reef snorkeling, ocean swimming and kayaking or just to relax in the sun on the sand. At the Shipwreck Hut beach bar and restaurant tropical drinks and cocktails are served, and evening entertainment and barbecues are offered twice a week. Aro'a Beachside Inn can also provide leisure equipment for activities such as boules, badminton and a variety of board games. A book swap library is on site. Wireless Internet access is available. Particularly big, old trees can be found along the Great Road of Toi (Ara Metua), built in about 1,000 AD from coral slabs.
